South Asian Journal of Arts, Humanities and Society (SAJAHS) is committed to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics. The journal rigorously enforces policies on plagiarism, data integrity, and responsible authorship to ensure the credibility and originality of the scholarly work it publishes.

Plagiarism Policy

SAJAHS strongly discourages all forms of plagiarism and duplicate submissions. All manuscripts submitted to the journal are screened using Turnitin, and the similarity reports are shared with the authors. If plagiarism is detected at any stage—either by the editorial team or peer reviewers—the manuscript will be rejected outright. In cases where plagiarism is identified after publication, the article will be retracted, and the author(s) will be duly notified. Authors are advised to thoroughly review their submissions to ensure originality and proper citation.

Policy on Data Inaccuracies

SAJAHS maintains a zero-tolerance policy for research misconduct, including data fabrication, data falsification, and citation manipulation. Authors must ensure the accuracy and reliability of their data and references. If inaccuracies are detected during the review or production stages, the manuscript will be returned to the author(s) for correction. Depending on the nature and severity of the issue, the manuscript may be rejected or subjected to further editorial scrutiny. Post-publication discoveries of misconduct can lead to a corrigendum or retraction, with full transparency and author notification.

Multiple, Redundant, or Concurrent Publication

Authors must not submit the same manuscript to multiple journals or publish the same research findings in more than one primary outlet. Such practices constitute unethical behavior and can result in the rejection of the manuscript prior to publication or retraction thereafter. If the manuscript is derived from a previously presented work (e.g., a thesis or conference paper), the authors must clearly disclose this at the time of submission. Failure to do so may affect the publication outcome.

SAJAHS remains dedicated to academic integrity and holds both authors and reviewers to the highest ethical standards in scholarly publishing.
